SHAPING THE FUTURE OF EPG HEALTH MEDIA

We are proud to announce the launch of our new corporate logo and website as part of the ongoing evolution of the EPG Health Media brand.

Our business has grown considerably in the five years that we’ve had our current logo, and we felt it was time for a brand refresh. This change coincides with other significant events, including the launch of an innovative new version of epgonline.org, our website for healthcare professionals, and the birth of our sister company DMC [Digital Medical Communications Ltd.] – three significant launches shared in this, our 15th year.

With thanks to THEY Creative, the refreshed logo reflects what EPG Health Media is today and symbolises our history of being forward-thinking too (as told by our Managing Director, Chris Cooper in his telling of ‘A cyclical story: the 15 year technical evolution and personalisation of epgonline.org) and today EPG Health Media is bigger and stronger than ever.

We remain proud of our past, which is why the logo retains core elements such as the three brand colours that represent our long-standing and enduring tagline – reach, engage and measure. While deconstructing the original logo, we wanted to keep a consistent visual link to our now well-recognised brand, and also the logo for epgonline.org, which shares these colours too.

The new look is a signal of the transformational change that we are embarking on as we reach, engage and measure global healthcare audiences in increasingly innovative ways and carry our industry partners with us on this journey. The brand refresh affords us the opportunity to remind them of the value and impact of our joint vision for forward-thinking health engagement, which we’re confident marks the beginning of a successful new chapter in the growth and impact of our work.

We’ve named our logo icon the ‘Triptych’. From the Greek ‘threefold’, a triptych is a work of art formed by 3 complementary components that are hinged together. This beautifully encapsulates what EPG Health Media is all about – again – REACH, ENGAGE, MEASURE;  three small but powerful words that in turn encapsulate not only our service, but also our goals, our messages and our culture.

Concepts that our ‘Triptych’ logo of interlocking triangles symbolises - forward-thinking, innovative, sustainable, integrated and balanced (supply versus demand). 

I had planned to include some visuals illustrating the transition of the EPG Health Media brand over the past 15 years, but decided to focus not on where we have come from, but on where we are heading. Come with us!
