RECENT STUDY - What information delivery channels have most influence over patient/consumer behaviour?
In our first newsletter (November 5th) we brought you the results of our study on "What information delivery channels have most influence over physician behaviour?" Read the related blog and request a copy of the full HCP survey results.
We have now also conducted a parallel study into information delivery channels for patient / consumers – Read the blog and request a copy of the full PATIENT survey results.
PLANNED STUDY - What is the perceived value amoung patients/consumers, HCPs and pharma in communicating with each other via social media?
EPG will be sampling the opinions of all three groups during February to find out the extent to which they already engage with each other via social media, what are the main types of site they use (discussion forums, blogs, general social networks…), in what circumstances and how often.
To help us tailor the study, EPG would welcome your input - If you could pose a question(s) related to social media to any of those groups, what would it be? Please email us by Monday 3rd February with your suggestions.
It is our intention to publish the results of this study at ExL 2nd Annual Digital Pharma Europe (March 29-30), where EPG Health Media will be exhibiting. A link to the report will also appear in the April EPG Newsletter.
As the web access explosion continues unabated in China - thanks to the influence of digital media - might those who sat back and waited whilst others invested, now be able to compete without the massive investment required say, 10 years ago?
